The Torre di Argentina Cat Sanctuary. Volunteers in Rome maintain a wonderful urban cat sanctuary, supported solely by donations. They take care of about 400 beautiful cats, who roam freely. All the cats are vaccinated and spayed or neutered. The sanctuary is located amidst the the excavated ruins where Caesar shuffled off this mortal coil.
